Mandaue to form cheerdance group to boost morale of its teams

The city government of Mandaue will be forming a cheerdance group for its basketball and volleyball teams in an effort to boost up their morale in future competitions bringing the name of the city.

 In view of this, the sports coordinators of Mandaue will be holding an audition for interested parties this Friday at 7 pm at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

Applicants must be a bonafide resident of Mandaue aged 16 to 18 years old, knows how to dance, must be at least 5-foot-5 tall, and with pleasing personality.

Those who will be chosen will be commissioned to cheer for Mandaue in various sports tournaments the city will be joining. In return, they will be given allowances and other perks.

At the moment, Mandaue is in the process of building up a competitive Under-21 basketball team for the Inter-City caging as well as forming a strong volleyball squad for the 3rd Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball (GUV) Cup. — EBV
