Blue Marlins finally in Dumaguete swimfest

The University of Cebu (UC)-Blue Marlins start their bid in the 106th Silliman University Founder’s Age-Group Swimming Competition today at the Shaw Memorial swimming pool in Dumaguete City.

After begging off in the event several times before, the UC-Blue Marlins squad return to action with 30 swimmers to banner their championship campaign.

The UC-Blue Marlins of multi-titled coach Rolando Alvarez hopes to make a good comeback in the event, targeting no less than the overall title.

Winning the crown will be a bit easier than their other campaigns with only Philippine Amateur Swimming Association (PASA) members allowed to join in the competition.

Among the top bets of UC-BM are Renan Tapang Navarro siblings, Anthony III,Lyh Ann and Anthony Lin,Karen Indaya,Israel David,Serge Bischoco, Bethmay Arellano, Danielle Ballesteros,the Cañedas-Noel,Trina and Diane, Patricia and Pierre Niño Baguio, Michael and Abigael Vega, Mary Arlette Baller, Eldy Banluta, Marlon Galo, Todd Aris Belleza, Beverly Vasig and Warren Troy Vergara.
