Seasoned and upcoming daredevils get ready for the staging of the ninth leg of the 2007 MS Motosuit Motocross Series this Sunday in the municipality of Asturias.
Dubbed as the first Mayor Alan Adlawan Invitational Motocross, the breath-taking event is expected to attract not less than 50 riders from all over Visayas and Mindanao region.
The people of Asturias will not only witness the adrenaline-pumping show for the first time, but also heated action among riders who will not only vie for top honors but also for crucial points needed for their individual rankings.
Veteran Pepo Rubi is expected to barge into the winner’s podium this time after failing to make it in the past eight legs as he takes advantage being the designer of the racetrack in Asturias.
Rubi will be dealing with younger opponents with the expert division overall leader Irwin Uypitching saying he will already retire from competitive racing after the freak accident he suffered during a race in Dipolog City last summer.
MS Motosuit image model Glenn Aguilar, the champion in the past two legs, could not make it to this Sunday due to other commitments.
Aside from the experts class, riders under the intermediate, novice open production, beginner’s open production, open enduro, mini class, executives A, B and C are equally-eager to strut their wares.
