Dignos keeps winning ways in cycling
Ciano Dignos kept his winning ways last May with a convincing victory in the first leg of the June edition of the Cebu Cycling Series yesterday at the
Dignos of Rut Machine Shop, who topped the last leg of the May race, started his bid for a monthly crown on a bright note by crossing the 34-kilometer race ahead of his closest pursuer Teodorico Tumulak of Team Gwapings.
Spark Kleen’s Rex Gonzalez, May’s Road Cyclist of the Month, clinched the third place honors followed by RMS rider Lyndyl Caraquel.
The Dignos-powered RMS also led the charge in the team standings with 38 points.
Gwapings is at temporary second with 25 points followed by Spark Kleen with 21 points in the RECYCLE-organized event sponsored by Vellum, Al Figer, Glenn Rasco, T.W.O. sandals, Alpine Electrical and Spark Kleen. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
