ABF-CSMA badminton tourney at Racquet Zone today
It’s all system’s go for the Architects Badminton Federation (ABF)-Cebu Sports Media Association (CSMA) Quarterly Badminton Tournament tomorrow at the Racquet Zone Badminton Club of Montebello Villa Hotel in Brgy. Apas, this city.
The competition is divided into three categories:levels E-1 and 2 and F.
CSMA players will be scattered in three levels. Pairing under CSMA will be determined by the drawing of lots.
With that, the organizers of the event led by Alan Choachuy, the recipient of this year’s “Presidential Award” from the Sportswriters Association of Cebu (SAC), anticipates each level to have 12 teams.
Each level will be divided in two groups.
The tournament follows a single-round robin format with the top two teams in each group advancing to the crossover semifinals. The winners will then clash for the championship.
