- Edwin Ian Melecio -

Four institutions will benefit from the 1st Y101 Corporate Cup Golf Tournament, which tees off Thursday at the par-72 Cebu Country Club.

The four institutions are the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF), Cancer Care Network, Sto. Niño Children's Center, and the Seven Sisters House of Mercy.

The tournament is a four-man team event with only the three best scores to count for the round.  Action will be on May 31 and June 1.

Tomorrow, a ceremonial tee off and the pre-tournament cocktails would be held at the CCC ballroom.

Martha Tuason, chairperson of the tournament and chairman of the board of Y101, said that as of yesterday, all 50 slots for the tournament have been filled.

She said that those who would like to register would still be accepted, but would be put on the wait list.

The event's major presentors are Ford-Cebu, Philippine Airlines and Y101-FM.

The participating teams will be divided into three categories based on the first round scores using the Modified Stableford Scoring System.-NLQ
