Vice-Guv tennis in Tuburan

The Vice-Governor's Cup 2007 Third District Inter-Municipality Invitational Tennis Tournament unfolds today in the newly improved Tuburan tennis court.

Cebu Vice-governor Greg Sanchez along with Pablo John Garcia, Toledo's Ian Zambo and Board Member Tata Corominas are expected to attend the opening ceremonies.

A total of four municipalities confirmed participation including host Tuburan, Asturias, Balamban and Toledo.

The event is a team competition wherein each squad will have to field in a bet in the singles, doubles and the class C action. Players will be playing on a round-robin system.

The team with the most number of wins will take home the title.

Cash prizes and trophies will be given away in the two-weekend competition. - Caecent No-ot-Magsumbol
