MJDL logs double victory in Collector's Cup

The MJDL squad posted a double victory in the Cebu Employees and Brokers Union (CEBU)-Collector's Cup basketball tournament after winning in two brackets at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

In the 35-below division, MJDL of Mike Logarta posted a 79-69 victory over MEDMA-Customs Brokers Family.

After dictating the tempo of the game in the first three quarters, MJDL experienced trouble when Ian Go, Louie Espina and Cesar Rosellosa orchestrated a spirited rally for MEDMA.

Good thing for MJDL as they managed to hang on and collected its second win in three games with Elran Gelbolengo leading with 14 points.

Earlier, MJDL also won in the 35-above class at the expense of Wharfinger, 65-57.
