DBTC blanks USC in CESAFI football

Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) blanked University of San Carlos (USC), 6-0, in the Boys 17 category of the Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) Football Cup last Saturday at San Roque field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Bernard Francis Buot made two successive goals in the 12the and 14th minute, two give DBTC a 2-0 advantage over USC.
Mark Atillo and Rowell Plasencia then dropped their goals at the 24th and 32nd, respectively, and Louie Inez completed the rout with goals in the 56th and 60th.
On the other hand, University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) trounced University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), 4-0, with Michael Nierra contributing three of the four goals of USPF.
Nierra made the opening shot in the 13th and Jonathan Tan followed in the 47th minute.
Nierra closed the game with goals in the 59th and 69th. - Marigold P. Lebumfacil
