Cross-country specialist Nino Surban and motocross rider-turned-downhill expert Donkey Sanchez are eyeing for a victorious ride today in the Globe Broadband Downhill Rampage and Cross-country Championships at Willie's Place to Kan-Irag Golf course here.
A win by Surban today will give him back-to-back titles as he ruled the Cebu Mountainbike Showndown (CMS) held early this month.
Sanchez, for his part, hopes to be on top again after missing the title in the expert division of the downhill event.
He topped the expert division in the CMS action but missed to duplicate it in the next downhill action, which is the Quickflight Classic, as he came in late for the event.
Aside from the expert division, the downhill competition will also feature a novice, executive and beginner's class.
The cross-country event in this Cebu City Sports Commission and ABC-supported event will have the expert, seniors, juniors, master I and II, beginners and the executive divisions.
