Visitors to challenge locals in Don Bosco Football Festival

Foundation University-Dumaguete, Poveda College-Manila and San Carlos City-Negros Occidental confirmed to join the Don Bosco Technology Center 53rd Founders Day Celebration Football Festival this coming Saturday at the DBTC football fields.

The visiting teams are expected to give the home bets a run for their money.

The teams playing in the Players-8 division are St. Paul FC, Jiuseppe FC, DBTC-A, DBTC-B and Sacred Heart School-Jesuits while the contenders in Players-10 are St. Paul FC, SHS-J, Pomeroy Ramos FC, FCIC, DBTC-A, DBTC-B and Jiuseppe FC.

Kuya Nick FC, SHS-J, FCIC, DBTC-A, DBTC-B and DBTC-C are now on the list in Players-12 while on Player-14 are Kuya Nick FC-A, Kuya Nick FC-B, FCIC, Don Bosco Boys Home, DBTC-A and DBTC-B.

The Boys-17 will have FCIC, FCIL, DBTC-A, DBTC-B and Don Bosco Boys Home while the Girls-17 bets include Melbourne United FC-A, Melbourne United FC-B, Ramos FC, Bulwarks FC, San Roque FC, Cebu City Science High School and the visiting team, Poveda College-Manila.

La Niña FC, Mulbacks, Ramos FC, Bulwarks, University of San Carlos, SRFC, Don Bosco College and Dumaguete's Foundation University are the teams, which will battle it out in the women's open.

Participating in the men's open category are Danao College-Alumni, Melbourne FC, SRFC, FCIC, FCIL, University of Cebu, First Child FC, Hiroshi, Don Bosco-Alumni, Magone FC, Don Bosco Boys Home, Don Bosco-Lawaan, House of Hope, Cebu State College of Science and Technology-A, CSCST-B, Cebu Institute of Technology A, CIT-B, University of the Philippines-Alumni FC, Queen City United, Foundation University and People's Support, a call center company.

The teams in the 35-above category are SRFC, QCU-A, QCU-B, San Carlos City-Negros, Hiroshi-A, Hiroshi-B, DB-Alumni-A and DB-Alumni-B.

Plaques, trophies and medals await the champion and first runners-up winners in the P-8, P-10, P-12, P-14, B-17, G-17 and Ladies Open while trophies and cash prizes will be given to the top two teams in the men's open and 35-above categories.

DBTC is still accepting entries until today, January 18 at 7:00 am at DBTC Sports Office.
