2006 MS Motosuit awarding of winners tonight

The awarding of winners in the 2006 MS Motosuit Series takes place tonight at the Grand Convention Center.

San Remigio Municipal Mayor Mariano Martinez, who hosted the third leg of the inaugural series, will be the honored guest.

Martinez is also set to give an inspirational message after a video presentation.

Cebu City Sports Commission cycling and motocross director Andot Rubi will also be there, not only to receive his award as the overall champion in the executive A, but also to give the welcome address.

Irwin Ramas-Uypitching leads the cast of awardees after emerging as the Rider of the Year after dominating the 11-leg series held in different areas in Cebu and Dumaguete City.

Aside from that, marshalls, sponsors and leg organizers and hosts will also be given certificates of appreciation.

The MS Motosuit writer of the year will also be recognized today along with the other sportswriters, who supported the entire action.

A dance presentation as well as the Hardtail band will spice up the awarding ceremonies.

Lou Ornopia, owner of MS Motosuit, quality maker of seat covers among others will do the closing remarks as well as announcements for the 2007 edition. - Caecent No-ot-Magsumbol
