Winners in Motosuit Series to get award Sunday

The top finishers in the 2006 MS Motosuit Series will be formally awarded this Saturday at the Grand Convention Center here.

Irwin Ramas-Uypitching leads the cast of awardees after emerging as the Rider of the Year after dominating the 11-leg series held in different areas in Cebu and one at his own turf in Dumaguete City.

The other riders set for centerstage are Jovannie Abellar in the intermediate class, Donkey Sanchez in the novice open enduro and Nonoy Reluya in the executive-B.

In the executive A, it's Cebu City Sports Commission motocross and cycling director Andot Rubi as the overall champion as Jon-jon Adlawan dominated the novice open production, Norman Pautan in the beginner's open production and John Flores in the mini class.

It's Bonnie Bustillo as winner in the local enduro and not Jed Luna as reported earlier.

Aside from the awarding of the overall titlists in different classes, it is also the declaration of winners in the sportswriting contest about the said event. - Caecent No-ot-Magsumbol
