Tabotabo, Lagman inch closer to Milo tennis title

Cebuanos Vince Marc Tabotabo and Jacob Lagman is a step closer to the championship round in the Milo Age-Group Tennis Cup at the Dapitan tennis courts in Manila.
Tabotabo of Tuburan was the first to step into the semifinal round after winning against Jason La Torre in straight sets in the quarterfinal round of the unisex 10-under class.
Supported by Cebu vice-governor Greg Sanchez, Accord Bank and Tavo's Sports, Tabotabo disposed off La Torre, 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the next round.
But he is expected to meet tough opposition in the semifinal round as he is set to tackle second seed Vince Salas.
On the other hand, Lagman who made it to the quarterfinal round of the boys 12-under after silencing Jacob Joseph Abarquez, 6-0, 6-0 the other night, pulled another impressive victory yesterday.
The Headpenn-supported Lagman clobbered Jonel Buenaflor, 6-1, 6-0.
Lagman will tackle the winner of the match between Calvin Canlas and Mark Concepcion.
