It's going to be a very rough Sunday for Cebuano moto-crossers and other regular riders of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series with the penultimate leg taking place on December 10 in Sudtungan, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City .
Billed as the "Barangay Captain Isabelito Darnayla Cup", more than 50 entries from all over Cebu as well as from other areas in the Visayas and Mindanao are expected to see action in the adrenaline-pumping event.
With only two more legs left, this Sunday's contest is going to be a close race not only in the premiere experts class, but also in the other categories.
Usually, it is in the penultimate leg where the overall champion will be determined except for categories who get to have riders on top after each leg.
The year-round competition, spearheaded by MS Motosuit top honcho Lou Ornopia, will stage its final leg in Panadtaran, San Fernando on December 28. The San Fernando action will again be dubbed as "Neneth Reluya Cup".
After the final leg, Lou Ornopia plans to hold a separate awarding ceremonies to formally fete the overall winners.
More than the awards rites, Ornopia wants a get-together of all the participating riders together with their family and friends as well as to those who, in some way or another, have supported the race.
