Villamor pockets CEPCA December title

Godfrey Villamor's seventh round win against John Tilos paved his way to the top in the December edition of the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (CEPCA) Monthly Kiddies Chess Tournament at Bibo Chess Club here.

Villamo ended the tournament with 6.5 points to earn the title.

He was followed by Girald Miral, who also won his final round assignment over Patrick Osorno, who eventually placed fourth overall.

The third place honors went to Christian Lumatak.

The fifth to eighth placers were John Tilos, Felix Balbona, Nikki Sabiquil and John Balbona.
