The multi-event conclave is going to be a three-way battle again for defending champion Cebu against Bohol and Oriental Negros.
There will be 15 sporting events to be competed in the namely athletics, baseball, basketball, football, sepak takraw, softball, volleyball, athletics, badminton, chess, karate-do, lawn tennis, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo and dancesport.
Although the inclusion of dancesport in the PRISAA National Championships is yet to be finalized, the organizers of the regional meet decided to include it based on the consensus of the participating squads.
Aside from the sporting events, there will also be academic and cultural contests and the yearly Mutya ng PRISAA search.
This year's host, Bohol-PRISAA, led by lawyer Dionesio Balite, president of Bohol Institute of Technology (BIT), will be meeting with the different school representatives today to discuss the details of the event.
The Regional PRISAA Meet will be the selection process for the National Championships set April 15-21 in Iloilo City.
