Villamor rules CEPCA Kiddies chess

Godfrey Villamor scored a draw with JB Balbanera in the final round but it was enough to steer him to the championship crown in the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association's Monthly Kiddies Chess tournament at the Bibo Chess Club.

Villamor of Tisa I won all six rounds before drawing his last assignment to emerge the champion with 6.5 points.

University of Cebu's Nikki Sabiquil's last round win over Ronald Parba paved her way to a second place finish with 5.5 points and 31.5 Bucholz.
