McMill beats AC Sports in CABA caging

McMill Ferri defeated AC Sports, 125-117, to register the highest scoring game in the league in the ongoing second conference of the Cebu Athletics Basketball Association (CABA)-Tommy N Tony Cup Basketball tournament at the San Nicolas Sports Complex.

McMill's latest win is their second out of five tries while AC Sports stands with a 1-4 win-loss record.

Both squads went off to a hot start, but McMill managed to take the lead at the end of the opening canto, 40-34, behind Erik Viajedor.

The Archie Baba-led AC Sports fought back with fastbreak attacks to erase their deficit and entered the third canto with a three-point lead, 66-63.

But AC Sports failed to keep the lead and let Macky Hapitan's Mc Mill squad dominate the battle until the final buzzer.

Dennis Santillan led McMill with 30 points while four other teammates are also in a double-digits.
