Ponce rules CDAI singles open event
October 23, 2006 | 12:00am
After all the trying, Jerous Ponce finally found his bearings back to win the latest Cebu Darts Association Incorporated (CDAI) Single's Open title at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center the other night.
The lanky Ponce managed to hang on and defeated Roy Laude for the top post.
William Encorporado grabbed the third place while Itong Badayos came out fourth.
It was a last minute decision of the organizers to make the latest event another single's event and not doubles as earlier planned because the local darters want to use the event as tune-up game for the half a million pesos Governor's Cup in Cabadbaran, Agusan next month. - Caecent O. No-ot
