USC-BEDSC hoopfest on today

A total of 10 teams will be seeing action in the 4th University of San Carlos-Basic Education Department South Campus Parents Teachers Community Association (USC-BEDSC PTCA) basketball tournament to kick off on Sunday at the South Campus covered court.

Cesar Ortega, the organizer of the tournament and PTCA board officer said defending champion Lola Tikya will not be around to defend its title while former champion Pepsi Max will be donning the 7-Up jersey.

The participating teams are Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, First Year, USC Faculty, Boys High, ADEA, Carpool and 7-Up.

There will be a brief opening rites before the formal hostilities begin.

Other PTA board officers are invited to grace the affair.
