The play-off games of the Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) starts this afternoon at the Sacred Heart Gym with Bimoli Cooking Oil eyeing to beat San Miguel 206 for a slot to the final round.
A win for Bimoli today would mean an automatic entry to the championship game. But one false move will render them out of contention.
Defending champion, Dunkin Donuts/Gillamacs'97, for its part, hopes to defend their crown. But they are yet to tackle Chivas Regal and it victorious, they will face the winner between Big Mao and MTO.
The other play-off game will be between no.4 Worldwide Steel against no.5 Chivas Regal.
The winner between Bimoli and San Miguel will then be facing either Worldwide Steel and Chivas Regal on the 19th and so with the winner between Dunkin Donuts and K1 and that of Big Mao and MTO.
The winners in the October 19 action will advance to the best-of-three championship game.
