The Sacred Heart School-Jesuit will meet Don Bosco College today with hopes to get the no.1 spot at the end of the elimination round in the SBP division of the 17th Milo Basketball Efficiency Scientific Training (BEST) Basketball Tournament.
Although the Jesuits are already assured of a slot in the cross-over semifinals, they wanted to beat DBC so that they can face an easier task in the next round.
The Jesuits' last assignment saw them winning a game against USC South Campus, 74-6, one for the records in Milo BEST-Cebu.
Earlier, another record-breaking result also took place with DBC playing mercilessly against the University of San Carlos-North Campus-B, 108-10 in the passerelle division.
DBC, which fought tooth and nail last week against lowly Cebu Institute of Technology, 34-31, proved they are a team to reckon with as they formalized their entry in the semis with a 3-1 win-loss slate while USC NC-B dropped out of contention with 0-3.
The other games last week also saw another USC-NC-A squad defeating Colegio dela Inmaculada Concepcion-Mandaue, 63-4, also in the passerelle while USC-NC's SBP squad, bowed down to DBC, 47-23.
