Leaders Royal Oaks, UV-Mandaue face off in MACABA

League leaders Royal Oaks International School (ROIS) and University of the Visayas-Mandaue will meet today to highlight the resumption of the 9th season of the Mandaue City Amateur Basketball Association (MACABA) at the Paknaan National High School gym in Mandaue City.
Games today:
8:00am - LAMS vs. Canduman NHS
9:20am - Paknaan NHS vs. Tipolo NHS
10:40pm - St.Louis SM vs. MCCNHS
1:00pm - Tabok NHS vs. Cabancalan NHS
2:20pm - St. Joseph Academy vs. San Isidro PS
3:40pm - Royal Oaks vs. UV-Mandaue
Royal Oaks and UV-Mandaue stands with three wins and no loss to share the top spot in bracket B after defeating their respective opponents last week.
Royal Oaks drubbed Samantabhadra, 60-39, with Tirado leading the charge with 17 points.
UV-Mandaue, for their part, chalked their third win against Tipolo NHS with another lop-sided, 81-32, win.
Today's host, Paknaan, also looks forward to a back-to-back win when they meet against Tipolo NHS after defeating CIC-Mandaue, 51-48, to stand behind Royal Oaks and UV-Mandaue.
The other games last week saw Don Gerardo L. Ouano MNHS also staying clean after three games after pulling a 54-45 victory against MCCNHS in bracket A.
Little Angels M.S trails Don Gerardo in the team standings with two wins after taking a 51-48 victory over San Isidro.
