RSBBC reaches CSA cage final

The Risen Savior Bible Baptist Church needed an extra five-minute period before dispatching Plaza Fair, 99-95, to advance into the championship of the 1st Cebu Sports Association (CSA) Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Bible Baptist Church gym in Brgy. Labangon, this city.
With Boyet Uyanguren on the firing end, Plaza Fair raced to a 41-36 lead at halftime, but siblings Edmark and Jabez Galon put their acts together to put RSBBC in front entering the final period.
Plaza Fair, however, rallied back to forge an 80-all deadlock, thus, sending the game into overtime.
In the extension, RSBBC appeared to have more reserved energy and wisely used that advantage to tame Plaza Fair.
RSBBC will face the winner of the Harbour City -Interface Computer College showdown in the sudden-death final set this Friday.
