Edgar Fuentes stayed on top of the leaderboard in the Road Cyclist of the Month race, even as Ramsey Villaver posted back-to-back victories after ruling the fourth leg of the event at the Mandaue City reclamation over the weekend.
However, Fuentes, who has now piled up 62 points, leads by just a hairline over Villaver.
Ciano Dignos is at third with 57 points, while Junjun Canasa and last month's RCM winner Orlan Toring occupied the fourth and fifth spots with 49 and 41 points, respectively.
After ruling the climb, Villaver proceeded with another win, this time in a criterium race.
Villaver's victory paved the way for him to a step closer to the overall spot in Class B.
Trailing Villaver in the latest outing were Canasa, Dignos, Colina and Jojo Juezan.
