Batch '97 logs 5th straight win

Defending champion Dunkin Donuts-Gillamac '97 collected its fifth straight win to pace the 11th Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) basketball tournament at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym.
The latest prey that fell into the hands of Batch '97 was Borplus Pipes'91-92-93 who suffered an 86-57 beating.
But Big Mao '87 and '95 is sending a strong signal to challenge Dunkin Donuts-Gillamac as it also maintained its clean slate after four outings.
Big Mao's fourth victory was at the expense of Kenya, 71-66, with James Edquilla leading the charge with 16 points.
Meanwhile, Chivas Regal '96 suffered its first defeat in four games.
Hyundai '94 outsmarted Chivas Regal '96 with a 55-48 victory, thanks to former commercial player Joel Co, who powered his team with 30 points to improve their standings with 3-2 win-loss card as the latter settled with 3-1.
