Adidas streetball challenge Cebu leg on today

The University of Cebu Webmasters and the University of San Carlos Lady Warriors eye no less the championship in their respective divisions as the Cebu leg of the 11th Adidas Streetball Challenge fires off today at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym.

The organizers of the event have cancelled the regional finals, but welcomed out-of-towners from the Visayas to join the contest.

The total number of entries for today's action have not yet been finalized as the screening of entries are still going on as of this writing.

Aside from UC and USC, the other competing squads are the University of the Visayas, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu Institute of Technology, Cebu Eastern College, the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation and host SHS-J.

Aside from the 18-under action for boys and girls categories, there will also be some side events including the traditional media 3-on-3.
