Villa Norma logs opening day win in K Gallery loop

Villa Norma pulled away in overtime to defeat defending champion Atan Guardo, 113-104, last Sunday in the opening day of K Gallery Basketball Tournament at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.

Atan Guardo was leading by three points in the last 14 seconds of the regulation period but Villa Norma was able to forge overtime after a three point play.

Harold Cincoflores and Samsam Gullas led the winning team with 24 and 22 points, respectively.

In other games, Unichem Industrial Sales, Inc. edged Diner Project 89-84, USC Nursing tamed Moondogs, 91-83 and San Remigio Beach Club demolished VSM Quenchers 100-43.
