Paredes grabs berth to nat'l team

Another Cebuano Jim Paredes gets into the National training pool after a promising performance in the 19th National Karatedo Championships in Tagum City, Davao.

Paredes prevented Mandaue City from going home empty-handed by taking away a silver in the men's kumite 60 kilograms division.

Paredes is from Subangdaku and a member of Mandaue's Shotokan Karatedo Organization (SKO).
