Jacob Lagman rules anew in Milo tennis

Jacob Lagman collected another championship trophy before leaving for the Palarong Pambansa as he ruled the boys 12-under division of the 2006 Milo Junior Tennis Cup at the Cebu Country Club yesterday.

Topseed Lagman defeated Kurt Gerapusco in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Kurt Gerapusco's sister Janice had the same fate as her brother, bowing down to Joan Ganio at 6-3, 6-1 in the distaff side.

On the other hand, it's a gold and silver finish for Macy Solon in the girl's 16 and 18-class.

Solon lost to Floreza Alesna, 6-1, 6-2 in the girl's 18-under finals.

After a short rest, Solon bounce back and claimed the title in the girls' 16-under class over Kristel Mae Buenacosa, 6-1, 6-3.

Buenacosa, however, didn't feel bad about it as she also grabbed a gold after winning the girl's 14-under title against Cindy Gerapusco, 6-1, 6-1.

Jayvee Canoy dominated the boy's 14-under with a 6-3, 6-0 victory against Arc Montecalvo while the boy's 16-under saw Larry Antigua winning against Reymond Padigos, 6-1, 6-4
