Cebuano netters start hot in Truflex tennis

Cebuano top junior netters opened their bid in the PHILTA-Truflex National Age-Group Tennis Championships at the Rizal Memorial Tennis courts with impressive victories.
After the Andrada Cup, Jacob Lagman is back in full swing and came out too strong against Mark Ramos as the boys' 12-under top seed took a 6-1, 6-1 win, to enter the quarterfinals.
Lagman meets the winner between Chamberlin Reeds and Serge Ramos.
On the other hand, the Siso siblings, supported by Atan Guardo and the University of San Carlos, silenced their respective opponents in the 14-under division.
Niño Sino won via a 6-1, 6-0 decision over Eldee Sabalo of Zambales.
In the distaff side, Niño's younger sister, Sally Mae, posted the same winning mark of 6-1, 6-1 over Liz Magaway of Manila.
The Siso siblings' next opponents are still unknown as of press time.
Francis Largo's first assignment will begin today.
