PYMIF starts enrollment for summer classes

Philippine Yaw-Yan ArDigma Martial Arts International Federation, Inc. (PYMIF) VISMIN director Master Benigno R. Caniga Jr. announces the start of the enrollment period for the PYMIF Summer Training Class 2006.
Yaw-Yan, a unique Filipino Martial Art is considered to be the deadliest martial arts. It was derived from the syllables of two Filipino words "Sayaw" and "Kamatayan," which mean "Dance of Death".
It has 45 fundamental kicks. Its punches are called bolo punches because they were derived from our own native and old martial arts known as arnis. The power of its blows was derived from the perfect coordination of the hips and shoulders.
In Yaw-Yan, one can disarm an opponent in split seconds, using either the hands or legs.
It is more than just physical training because it involves body and mind coordination and test of enduring indomitable spirit. It also involves the mental disciplines of focus, concentration, alertness, flexibility stamina, speed, continuity and self-discipline.
Master Caniga encourages the youngsters to study the art of self-defense instead of involving into drug addiction or other vices.
For those who are interested to enroll in the PYMIF Summer training, one can come and visit the PYMIF VISMIN headquarter at the 3rd Flr. Room 304 Villacampa-Capuras Bldg., Sanciangko St., Cebu City across UC-Main Campus.
They also offer free lessons in aikido, arnis, aryan style (sipang-pamalo) bo staff, boxing, modern Jiujitsu, tonfa, Yawara Sticks, Yaw-Yan Combat, Yaw-Yan Grappling, Yaw-Yan Ardigma Style and many more.
