Instead of April 29, the event has been targeted to take place in the month of May instead and from White Gold House, the event has been eyed to return to Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
The organizers hope to finalize the venue and date by the end of this month.
The shift in venue was considered by the organizing Dancesport-Team Cebu City (DTCC) as they anticipated a bigger number of participants.
Last year's DanceSport sa Sugbu attracted 360 dancesport athletes from all over the Philippines with the bulk coming from the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
This year however, with better information dissemination, more athletes from the national capital region are expected to join.
Despite the changes, interested parties are still encouraged to submit their entries early.
Entry forms are available at the E-Motions Dancesport Training Center at the Cebu City Sports Center, Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City with tel. No. 415-58-44 or download it from the organizing body's website.
