TCC-Dancesport rules anew

The members of the decorated Team Cebu City-Dancesport reaffirmed their dominance over their Manila rivals as they amassed 15 golds, five silvers, and six bronzes to retain their title in this year's DSCPI National Quarterly Rankings and Competition at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Southeast Asian Games silver medallist Dearlie Gerodias and John Erolle Melencio led Cebu City's onslaught as they waltzed their way to a golden finish in the premiere Latin grade A competition.
TCC-Dancesport's top bets in the Modern Standard division grade A, real life couples Joel and Ana Madera and Jojie and Jonah del Rosario also showed great determination
The Maderas bagged the gold, while the Del Rosarios finished fourth. The Del Rosarios though made a good account of themselves by dominating the special event.
On the other hand, the tandem of Crisaldo Rendon and Eleanor Hayco remains unbeaten after winning the senior latin 1 class as the returning Maricris Hermosa came up with a silver finish with Tom Ingan.
Jenevieve Camacho and Arthur Erroles won two golds through the standard grade D and E plus a bronze in the special event 2 (male) with Girme Gutierrez.
Behind Camacho and Erroles in grade D standings was Ricca Alix and Renante Saldua, while the silver and bronze in grade E were grabbed by Rannel Espinosa and Johanne Tuico and Rolan Pacana and Cecil Lamedo, respectively.
Israel Rona, who was paired with Jennifer Amahan, got the gold in the latin special event (male), while the latter got the bronze in the distaff side. Johanna Alfar and Jimmy Noel took the gold and Dennis Sy and Jeane Fong got the silver.
Gemini Sangual and Susan Medalle added glitter to TCC-D with their golden performance in grade C, while Lowell Bernandos and Jennen Bergado grabbed two bronzes via the standard grade B and latin grade D.
TCC-D's young bets also wowed the audience anew after winning in their respective events.
Virgianie Oyao and Jumil Bacalso captured the gold in the junior A standard over teammates Jefferson Pimentel and Daine Balili.
Pimentel and Balili, however, bounced back by seizing the gold over Oyao and Bacalso in the latin category as Kevin Minoza and Rodah Mae Fernadez settled for the bronze.
Pimentel and Balili went away with two more golds in the latin and standard junior C category .
Virginiño Legarde and Divina Lamosa handed two more golds for TCC-Dancesport via the juvenile standard and latin class.
