Simbajon, who is poised to grab the third title after winning the first leg of this month's RCM, was trailed by Marcelo Berdon and Celso Nebria.
Retlaw Matudan was fourth and Danilo Simbajon took the fifth spot.
Dr. Simbajon is looking forward to lead the cast anew when the second leg of the RCM March series takes place this Saturday.
