Carcar joins leaders in Gullas Cup hoop

Team Carcar logged crucial victories to join the leaders in the basketball event of the Gullas Cup after beating Naga, 62-53, over the weekend.
Carcar shared the lead with Talisay City and San Fernando with three wins and a loss.
On the other hand, San Fernando picked up its third win over Sibonga, 63-58.
Sibonga is still lagging at the cellar with four loses along with Naga with three defeats.
In volleyball, Talisay City spearheads the cast in both men and women's divisions.
In the men's division, Talisay holds a 3-1 card while Naga trailed with three wins and no loss.
Carcar and Sibonga stood with an identical 1-2 win-loss card and San Fernando is still winless this time.
In the distaff side, Talisay City is comfortable at the top with four wins as Minglanilla and Carcar occupied the second spot (2-1).
Naga currently has 1-2 record and San Fernando's female squad manages to get into the winner's column (1-3).
