Petron had a rousing start and continued its domination until the closing minutes of the game with the all-round play of Eyok Jayme, Mario Suarez and Jaime Rodriguez.
But Swan Sardines pulled off a daring rally in the remaining 25 ticks of the game as power-forward Rey Jumamil split his charities to tie the score at 84-all.
In the return play, Glenn Birao scored an undergoal stab off an offensive rebound for the win.
Birao and Jumamil erupted with 21 points apiece to lift Swan Sardines while also drawing support from Erwin Ferrer and Richie Tecson with 17 and 12 markers, respectively, as they now elevate its status to 4-4 win-loss record.
On the other hand, Loctite Super Glue, mentored by Cesafi Commissioner Danny Duran, mangled the undermanned University of San Carlos-PTA, 139-97, to maintain its second position with an 8-1 card behind tournament leader J & B.
Ralph Bruzon, Jun Baure and Jun Canoñeo led the scoring binge for Loctite with 24, 18, and 16 points as four others joined in the fray, scoring in double figures.
Cesar Ortega and Lawrence Loquioas tallied 25 points for the losing team.
