5th Thirsty Hoop Jams to open April 1

The fifth edition of the Thirsty Fresh Juices and Shakes-sponsored Hoop Jams basketball tournament will kick off on April 1 at the Bright Academy gym in Brgy. Banilad, this city.
The competition, which has earned a hug following among cage enthusiasts with around 100 teams joining in its previous staging, follows and inter-company format this time.
The 5th Hoop Jams will run for two months and a half, while TV coverage will be present and updates will be seen on RCTV Channel 36 (Skycable).
Registration is set on or before March 25 with an entrance fee of P7,000 per team plus a P3,000 bond.
Each team shall be composed of a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 16 members.
Players must be employed in the company at least three months before the start of the tournament, while company ID and SSS number must be attached in the line-up.
No ex-commercial or ex-college varsity players are allowed to play. Only one 6-footer is allowed to play per game with a maximum height of 6-foot-4.
Games will be played during Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Schedules may change according to the availability of the venue.
