Pipeline drubs USC-PTA in Lourdes Cup

Pipeline Resto Bar of Reeve Jumawan blasted University of San Carlos-PTA South Campus, 109-96, in the elimination round of the Punta Princesa Sports Association Lourdes Fiesta Cup 2006 at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym.

Lito Navarro provided the leadership as Pipeline dominated the game from start to finish, erecting its biggest lead by as much as 15 points, 84-60, en route to the final quarter.

Jimbo Noel and Robert Abasolo led the scoring attack with 17 and 16 points, respectively, while Navarro, Dindo Sauza and Junard Ciabo connived for 38 points.

Ex-PBA Montoy Singson erupted with 24 points for USC-PTA while Opel Cabaltera and Lawrence Loquias combined for 25 points.

In other lopsided matches, Double A-sponsored PPBA whipped Larimp Network Tech, 129-104, with ex-PBA stalwarts Mark Tallo and Joe Calleja top scoring with 23 and 22 points as other players registered in double digits.

On the other hand, Petron X-tra Unleaded dumped CEC '60, 90-74.

Jaime Rodriguez and Archi Bantug posted 13 and 12 markers as Sammy Co, Ryan Ordes and Harry "El President" Lim led the losing team with 21, 16, and 13 points.
