Customs Police logs 4th straight win in CEBU hoop

Customs Police captured its fourth straight win after defeating MJDL,87-61 in the 10th Customs Employees and Brokers Union (CEBU) Collectors Cup the other night at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Punta Princesa.
After taking the charge in the early goings of the game, the wards of Gino Minguillan continued to pounce on and posted a 13-point lead going into the final canto, 62-49.
Mike Logarta's MJDL tried to hang on, but Custom Police were determined to give lessons to its rival and won the action under the 35-above division.
MJDL, however, didn't come home empty handed as its 35-below team won its assignment over MEZ, 64-60.
In the final game of the night, Purcia Transport System thrashed Duterte Customs Brokerage, 84-77.
Randy Francia and Joseph Jayme combined for 48 points to lead Purcia.
