3rd Godwin Kiddies chess set February 12

The third edition of the Godwin Kiddies Open Chess Tournament unfolds on February 12 at Bibo Chess Club in Jakosalem Street.
The event, which will be open to enthusiasts 14-years old and below, will be played for five rounds using the Swiss system with each player given 20 to play.
The champion will pocket P700 while the second placer gets P500 as the third to fifth placers to receive P300, P200 and P100, respectively.
A certificate of participation will be given to all players.
A registration fee of P40 is pegged for each participant in the event supported by BIR's Felix Balbona, CEPCA's Mandy Baria, Shemberg's Frank Navares, Rufino Bondal and BIT's Hannah Lagria.
