Milo marathon elims now in Dumaguete and Tagbilaran City

The organizing body of the Milo Marathon has added 13 other cities as venues for the regional elimination round of the Milo National Marathon this year, The Freeman learned.
Here in Central Visayas, the Milo Regional Marathon will now be visiting the cities of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental and Tagbilaran City in Bohol.
There will also be races in Bacolod City, Iloilo City and Roxas City.
The Bohol elimination will be taking place on February 5 and it will be followed by Dumaguete on February 19.
June 25 will be in Roxas and then in Bacolod on July 23 while the Iloilo race will be on September 10.
The Queen City of the South will have its own elimination on August 27 wherein another record-breaking number of participants is expected.
The rest of the areas covered by the country's premier foot race are Puerto Princesa, Kidapawan, Batangas, Lucena, Gen. Santos, Cavite, Manila, Davao, Naga, Olongapo/Subic, Laoag, Cebu, Butuan, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Tarlac, Legaspi, Zamboanga, Dagupan, Tacloban, San Fernando, La Union, Iligan, Dipolog, Nueva Ecija, Cabanatuan and in Santiago, Isabela.
The National Finals will be taking place in Manila on Dec. 10.
There will also be a 5-k and 3-k fun run and side events like cheerdance competition, biggest school delegation and an inter-school running team competition in all the regional venues.
