The multi-sport conclave for the elementary and secondary athletes is scheduled on April 17-22 at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex in Tagbilaran City.

Mordeno wants the event held after the Holy Week to ensure that student-athletes academic activities will not be interrupted.
DepEd-VII PESS Chief Dr. Vivian Ginete commended the decision to hold the CVIRAA after classes because holding the regional meet during class days would also mean additional burden to teachers since they will usually conduct special exams and tutorials to athletes who will be joining the competition.
On the other hand, a plan to co-host the CVIRAA meet between Tagbilaran City and Bohol is in the drawing board and it will be finalized by next week.
Ginete said the co-hosting job between the two divisions is possible knowing that Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Lim is very supportive of sports.
Lim even attended the opening program of DepEd's Execom together with Congressman Edgar Chatto.
Tagbilaran City also needs to be involved in the undertaking considering that majority of the schools in Bohol Province, which will be used as billeting quarters for athletes are in the city.
Aside from the billeting quarters, most of the sports facilities are also in Tagbilaran City.
Also, the sporting events and activities in the CVIRAA will be known next week as preparations are anticipated to shift to a higher gear next month.
