Customs Police prevailed over Assessment to register its first victory, 86-82, in the 35-above division, Wednesday night in the 10th Customs Employees and Brokers Union (CEBU) Collector's Cup basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Punta Princesa.

Triggerman Jingjing Rama provided the assault and scattered 18 points, capped by four triples. He also drew additional support from Gary Sicat and Bryan Ravago, who had 18 and 17 points, respectively.

Customs Police posted the biggest lead, 70-48, by the end of the third quarter, but Assessment tried to rally behind Randy Abarintos and Elmer Bailio as they cruised to 34-16 count, however, it proved to be its last ditch as Customs maintained its composure until the final whistle.
