In the opener, the Cokaliong Shipping powered by Abe Galinato, defeated the PTA North, 73-65, for its second straight win.

Ortega who dominated the boards by pulling off monster rebounds, top scored for the 3-0 AC Sports with 19 points as the Boys High Faculty dropped to 0-2.
Meanwhile, Galinato led Cokaliong with 21 points while the PTA North was led by Jun Bantolinao, who amassed a game-high 23 points.
Cokaliong improved to 2-0 while the PTA North has 0-2 for a tie at the bottom with Boys High and Marwil Cel Shop.
