Cebu Midnight Run reels off

More than a hundred runners will be out in the streets today to join in the 2005 5-kilometer Cebu Midnight Run at the Cebu Business Park.

Defending champion Rogelio Reli of the Philippine Arm and Christy Sevilleno of University of Cebu will be out to defend their respective titles.

Reli is expected to meet stiff opposition against University of Southern Philippines-Foundation's Mendel Lopez and Riez Enriquez, Roland Montebon of UC and Adonis Singson among others.

In the distaff side, Sevilleno will be on a tough job against Leizl Lumindas-Getaruelas, who went past her in the last two major races.

The event, organized by the City Sports Club Cebu, is supported by Waterfresh, Rudy Project, Adidas, Samsung Electronics, Cebu Holdings, Inc., Pryce Gases, Inc. and the Philippine Sports Commission.
