Argao Chess Club to hold chess seminar

The Argao Chess Club, Inc. will hold a seminar on chess officiating starting today at the Activity Center of the Cebu State College of Science and Technology-Argao.
International Linky Yap will conduct the two-day seminar, touching on the new rules in conducting chess tournaments, using the 2005 FIDE (Federation Internationale des Echecs) rules. He will also tackle the basic rules in playing chess and how to win games.
The clinic is open to all players, chess clubs and officiating tournament officials.
