On the other hand, University of San Carlos (USC) won the men's title.
The tandem of Mechell Matuguina and Juliet Marikit of USJ-R blended well as they hammered down University of the Visayas bets Janis Igot and Joy Alili in straight sets, 21-17, 21-14.
Southwestern University (SWU) beat University of Southern Philippines Foundation for third.
The SWU belles, who defeated USJ-R in the last Nestea Beach Volleyball last summer, fielded neophytes in the CESAFI.
In the men's side, USC, who kept a clean record from the elimination up to the final round, was proclaimed the champion.
USC overpowered the equally-talented USP-F team in the championships, also in straight set, 21-16, 21-18.
USJ-R's men's team dropped to third place with Jonrey Sasing and Joseph Alguno.
"Nindot ang dagan sa duwa sa mga girls nako. Sure sila sa ilang mga moves, pero ang mga laki, ambot kaha unsay gipangaon ani last night nga naglain man ang ilang tiyan maong napilde," explained USJ-R' coach Grace Antigua to The Freeman yesterday.
