Cebuano cyclists to compete in Batangas

Cebuano cyclists are gearing up for the "PowerBar Tour of Matabungkay" on October 29-30 in Batangas.
The event features an individual time trial and a road race.
Former top triathlete-turned-cyclist Nonoy Jopson will be leading the cast of the Cebuano squad.
The ITT comes first, wherein cyclists in different age brackets including the male 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-above and female open, will be dealing with a 40-kilometer race route.
The road race coming in the next day with participants aged 20-39 years will tackle a 130-K course while those aged 40 and above along with the female riders will race 90-K.
The event, sponsored by Nestle, is a joint project of Matabungkay Beach Resort and Hotel and the local government of Matabungkay.
Cyclists all over the country can still register with entry fees pegged at P700 for one event and P1,000 for 2 events.
